Schools and businesses across the city are donning their favourite pink shirts today to show their stand against bullying.
Led by the Mental Health Foundation, Pink Shirt Day encourages everyone to work together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting social relationships, and championing the slogan – speak up, stand together, stop bullying.
The Bay of Plenty Rugby Union was among organisations taking part in the day.
The union and GoodBuzz Kombucha hosted a pink shared morning tea with other tenants of the University of Waikato Adams Centre for High Performance in Mount Maunganui.
