EDWIN Sahlin's Snowbird, a Wildlife Photographer of the Year finalist in the 15-17 years category.
Wildlife Photographer of the Year, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, will be on display at the Tauranga Art Gallery until June 7.
The Gallery has invited well-known photographer Murry Cave to discuss wildlife photography on Tuesday, April 28.
Murry Cave is the President of the Photographic
Society of New Zealand, and he has a particular interest in documenting the behaviour, ecology and habitats of New Zealand's wildlife.
He is currently working on a project documenting the primates of Asia.
The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, founded in 1964, is an annual international showcase of the very best in nature photography.
