Police have recovered $10,000 of stolen property, including pools, tools, clothing, and electronics in Tauranga.

The Western Bay of Plenty’s Retail Crime Unit received information on Tuesday about three suspected shoplifters in a vehicle, a police statement said today.

Police spotted the vehicle on Cameron Rd and stopped it on Sharyn Place.

Two men were arrested. A woman was found by a police dog unit after allegedly fleeing.

A vehicle search uncovered alleged stolen items including two pools, DeWalt tools, high value electronics, designer clothing and handbags, and health and beauty products from 11 Tauranga retailers.
