Tauranga Intermediate School pupils clocked 3000km in five hours as part of the school's annual fundraiser on Friday.
The school's Ultimate Relay had the children running in teams more than five hours in a bid to raise funds for their school camp.
Acting deputy principal Karen Mills said the school was hoping to raise $50,000.
