Kidicorp Ltd has announced the purchase of two home-based education and care services, one of which has a Tauranga branch.
The company has bought Junior Explorers, which has branches in Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo, Hamilton and Wellington, and Kids at Home, which is based in the Waikato.
Kidicorp operates 260 early childcare centres throughout the country, including Topkids, Edukids, Montessori and ABC. The company is New Zealand family-owned.
Junior Explorers, currently providing care for 365 full-time equivalent children. Kids at Home provides care for 90 full-time equivalent children.
Kidicorp Company Director, Wayne Wright, said Kids at Home and Junior Explorers added more choice for parents considering the education and care of their children within Kidicorp.
