Six cafes helped raise $3500 out of $40,000 for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation last week.
The money was raised by more than 40 Robert Harris Cafes around New Zealand through their involvement in the Pink Ribbon Breakfast Campaign.
Today eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and this year 650 will most likely die.
Yet 30 per cent of eligible women are not enrolled in free screening and 60 per cent of young women do not know the signs beyond a lump.
