Tauranga among NZ's 'most beautiful' cities

Tauranga has been named a finalist in New Zealand's Beautiful Awards.

The city is up against Masterton and Napier for the Most Beautiful City title.

The Beautiful Awards, run by Keep New Zealand Beautiful, offer several categories including Best Loo, Young Legend Award, and Most Beautiful Suburb.

The awards are run by Keep New Zealand Beautiful and will be held in Hawkes Bay on October 13.

The awards are aimed at celebrating people and communities who 'do the right thing', demonstrating environmental excellence in all walks of life.
