Tauranga Airport 'back to normal' after evacuation

A burst hot water cylinder set off a fire alarm at Tauranga Airport this afternoon.

Manager Ray Dumble said at 2.30pm that the airport was "back to normal" after a temporary evacuation.

The airport was used by 430,000 passengers in 2018.
