A string of suspicious fires in Papamoa have cost millions in damage and Tauranga police are now investigating.
The Eastern Link overbridge was found ablaze in November last year and police believe that this fire, as well as at least two others, have been deliberately lit.
Kim Perks, Bay of Plenty police district communications advisor said today police received a small number of calls and will follow them through, but continue to appeal to anyone with information about these fires to make contact.
Police are keen to prevent any further fires and would like to hear from anyone who may be able to help in any way with this case.
