Reports of a possible firearm pointed out of a car sparked a police call out this morning in Pyes Pa.
A police northern communication shift commander said police were called out about 10.15am, responding to a suspected sighting of a firearm being pointed out of a car.
"That sort of thing is relatively common," he said.
He had received six calls yesterday alone in relation to possible firearms pointed out of car sightings naitonwide, he said.
"It could be people or kids pointing toy guns out of the window," he said.
