A delivery van seen as a crucial tool to connect patients with the care needed was stolen from Waipuna in the early hours of the morning.
A plea from the Waipuna Hospice has been launched seeking public help after the red Mazda van was stolen from the hospice property sometime between 4.15am and 6.30am this morning.
The van pictured is a similar make and model to the stolen Waipuna Hospice van (2006 Mazda E2000), licence plate DLJ395.
The van is used daily to deliver special equipment to patients who live at home and was one of the most important vehicles the hospice used.
Waipuna Hospice CEO Richard Thurlow said the theft had been reported to police.
