Sick children and teens have been painting baubles to be featured on a community Christmas tree.
A total of 12 double-sided wooden trees will be erected on the Tauranga Waterfront and Red Square in time for the Santa Parade on December 2.
Children staying in Tauranga Hospital's Children's Ward have today been painting the baubles.
Simone Anderson from the Incubator Creative Hub said the children at Tauranga Hospital was the second-to-last group they had facilitated to paint baubles for the trees.
"It is a community Christmas tree that will reflect the breadth of the community."
