The second of the trio caught packaging drugs in a Tauranga motel room potentially worth more than $200,000 if sold has received five months' home detention.
Gaylene Rose Stokes, 51, who earlier pleaded guilty to a possession of a psychoactive substance with intent to supply, was sentenced in Tauranga District Court yesterday.
The charge stemmed from a police raid of a Tauranga motel unit on July 18, 2015 during which 11kg of non-approved psychoactive substances in about 1kg bags were located.
When police arrived, the defendants were in the process of dividing the contents into smaller plastic snaplock bags containing about 2g per bag.
The court heard the women were told to leave the packaged bags in the motel room and they were paid in cash for undertaking this process.
