Rush-hour crash on Hewletts Rd, Mount Maunganui

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on Hewletts Road.

A Bay of Plenty Times reader said the crash was outside the Gull petrol station.

She said there looked to be two cars involved.

The police and an ambulance were at the scene.

She said the cars had been moved off the road and traffic did not appear to be seriously impacted.
