The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter has been dispatched twice to Waikato Hospital this week.
On Wednesday a 73-year-old male was transfered from Tauranga Hospital after suffering a serious medical condition.
The man was flown on a rapid response flight to Waikato Hospital to receive specialist treatment.
On Monday the rescue helicopter was dispatched from Whakatane Hospital to transfer a 74-year-old male who had suffered a stroke and required specialist treatment.
