Tauranga's Easter events drew crowds despite wet weather throughout the weekend.
Spells of heavy rain were not enough to drive people away from the Jazz Festival although three of the five downtown stages were forced to take a break during the afternoon on Saturday as conditions became unsafe.
A reporter on the Strand during the afternoon downpour said one band was standing in puddles on the stage and another band's gear had been damaged by the water.
Organiser Becks Chambers said everyone was in good spirits despite the damp conditions.
"All the indoor venues are packed," she said. "The public have been pretty good.
