The Pasifika Bay Rugby 10s Tournament will play out this Saturday, with teams from around the Pacific Islands showing off their sporting talent.
The opening ceremony will be at 8.30am at Arataki Park, opened by Bay of Plenty Rugby chief executive Mike Rogers, MP Simon Bridges and Tauranga City Mayor Greg Brownless.
The event will have Pacific Island food stalls for spectators, while teams from Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Kiribati, Cook Islands, Tokelau and Tuvalu battle it out.
The event is supported by the Pacific Island Community Trust Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union.
The final will be held at 5pm.
