The last episode of Our First Home and the last of the live auctions aired yesterday, with a Papamoa family losing the top spot.
The Pearce family (pictured) consisted of Grant, Janette, daughter Atareta, and boyfriend Tawera.
Atareta was an office manager for Moana Radio and had a small jewellery business. Tawera worked as a machine operator.
The Pearces sold their house for $807,000, which generated a profit of $17,717 - not enough to beat the Wottons.
The first of the live auctions saw the Wottons get $780,000 for their house.
