A person has received minor injuries after their car towing a caravan crashed into a power pole in Otumoetai this afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said the incident happened at the intersection of Bellevue and Otumoetai Rd at about 2.15pm.

She said police notified Powerco, however, there were no reports of lines down.

The Powerco outages website showed no signs of power cuts in the area.
