A person is in serious condition after being hit by a car this morning.
A police media spokeswoman said police were called to the collision at the intersection of Cameron Road and Sixth Avenue at 9.50am.
A St John's Ambulance media spokeswoman said one person was taken to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition.
A reporter on the scene said there were three police cars and an ambulance attending and traffic continued to flow.
