One person has died in a single vehicle crash in Paengaroa.
Police were called when a car crashed into a tree on State Highway 2 at the intersection of Mends Lane and Te Puke East Rd about 3.50pm today.
The crash victim was the sole occupant of the car.
The
road was closed and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
