Tauranga's two-day One Love festival has got even bigger with organisers announcing a sister event - Good Vibes Festival - will be held as a pre party offering three days of international and local roots, rock and reggae.
Pato Alvarez from Pato Entertainment said Good vibes was a new project aimed at developing artists for future One Love events while also being able to offer festival-goers more through a warm-up party for the main event.
He expects between 4000-5000 people to attend the Good Vibes Festival, which will be held at Soper Reserve, Mount Maunganui on Friday, January 25, before One Love 2019 at Tauranga Domain over Auckland anniversary weekend on January 26 and 27.
The line-up includes festival favourites Kora and Sons of Zion.
Josh Wawa is an exciting addition. Wawa, who last week announced a 4-date New Zealand tour for August, is one of the most requested acts for One Love every year and is looking forward to returning in 2019 as he showcases new music as well as the favourites.
