A Papamoa woman who lost her baby girl just weeks before she was due to give birth wants to help other women who go through similar heartwrenching experiences.
Nikita Rogers plans to provide a comforting "Sophie Bear" to women at Tauranga Hospital who lose an infant.
Mrs Rogers was 34 weeks pregnant when her baby girl, Sophie, stopped moving.
Sophie was delivered three days later and nothing prepared Ms Rogers or her family for the pain they would go through.
But through the kind words from staff in Tauranga Hospital and gifts given to them, they found hope in the days that followed the tragic event.
