Former Bay of Plenty District Health Board member Ron Scott has been appointed to the board's deputy chairperson role, after failing to be re-elected in this year's elections.
Mr Scott joins Sally Webb who was re-appointed as board chairwoman.
The positions were announced today by Health Minister Tony Ryall.
Mr Scott is new to the position but served on the board prior to the October elections, where he was not re-elected.
Mr Scott has served as chairman of the Community and Public Health Advisory Committee and Disability Services Advisory Committee Chair of SILC (Supported Individualised Lifestyle Choices) Charitable Trust, trustee of TECT and director of Stellaris Ltd.
