Amsterdam-based Dutch-NZ trio My Baby will perform in Tauranga as part of a 10-date New Zealand tour to celebrate the release of their new live album.
My Baby are known for their live performances and will no doubt impress fans with their roots-driven dance music act when The My Baby Live! New Zealand Summer Tour gets under way next year.
The tour starts in Raglan on February 6, before heading to Leigh on February 8 and then to Totara Street at Mount Maunganui on February 14. They will also perform in Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington, Motueka, Christchurch and Dunedin before winding up at the Wildfoods Festival in Hokitika on March 7.
The band, made up of New Zealander Daniel 'Da Freez' Johnson (guitar); Joost Sheik van Dijck (drums/vocals) and Cato van Dijck (lead singer and guitar), has been spreading their psychedelic blues-trance rave to audiences worldwide since 2012. They've played at some of the world's biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Sziget, Fusion and Exit.
