An Armed Offenders callout in Greerton this morning has resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old man.
Police were at a Marshall Ave address in Greerton at 10.55am today to execute a warrant.
A police spokeswoman said the search resulted in the arrest of a man, who has been charged with Injuring with Intent to Injure, Threatening to Kill and Possession of a Meth Pipe.
Two imitation firearms were recovered during the search.
He will be appearing in the Tauranga District Court tomorrow.
