A 56-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with a serious cardiac condition.
The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was called to airlift the patient from Cape Runaway at 3.30pm on Saturday.
The man was airlifted to Tauranga Hospital in a moderate condition.
