Waiariki, on 99 per cent votes counted, has Coffey on 9819 votes and Flavell on 8518 votes.
10.34pm: Maori Party leader Te Ururoa Flavell has lost Waiariki to Tamati Coffey (Labour), with Coffey taking 9077 votes to Flavell's 7895.
Tauranga and Bay of Plenty will remain safe National seats. With 98.1 per cent of votes counted, Simon Bridges has 19,100 votes and will remain MP for Tauranga, with Labour's Jan Tinetti second on 8828 and Clayton Mitchell (NZ First) on 4403.
Bay of Plenty has had 98.5 per cent of votes counted and Todd Muller will remain MP. Muller's 22,268 votes were well ahead of Angie Warren-Clark's (Labour) 9278 votes and Lester Gray's (NZ First) 3539 votes.
Rotorua will also remain a National seat. With 95.8 per cent of votes counted, Todd McClay has 15,609 votes to Ben Sandford (Labour) on 8668 votes and Fletcher Tabuteau (NZ First) on 2558 votes.
10.12pm: Todd Muller has celebrated victory in the Bay of Plenty electorate, leading the race with 21,673 votes and 90.8 per cent of votes counted. Angie Warren-Clark (Labour) has 9101 votes and Lester Gray (NZ First) has 3439 votes.
In Tauranga, Simon Bridges (National) is well ahead with 17,736 votes and 90.6 per cent of votes counted. Jan Tinetti (Labour) has 8105 votes and Clayton Mitchell has 4075 votes.
Waiariki is still being lad by Tamati Coffey (Labour) with 8179 compared to Maori Party leader Te Ururoa Flavell's 7254 votes.
9.50pm:Seventy-five per cent of the vote has been counted in Tauranga and Simon Bridges (National) is leading with 14,879 votes. Jan Tinetti (Labour) has 6694 votes and Clayton Mitchell (NZ First) has 3338.
The Bay of Plenty has also had 75 per cent of the vote counted and Todd Muller (National) is sitting on 19,752 votes. Angie Warren-Clark (Labour) has 8020 votes and Lester Gray (NZ First) has 3007 votes.
With 67.8 per cent of the vote counted, Tamati Coffey (Labour) is still leading Waiariki with 7357 votes. Te Ururoa Flavell (Maori) has 6498 votes.
9.35pm With more than half the vote counted, Simon Bridges (National) is leading the Tauranga vote comfortably with 11,498 votes. Jan Tinetti (Labour) has 4944 and Clayton Mitchell (NZ First) has 2465.
In the Bay of Plenty electorate with 58.5 per cent of the vote counted, Todd Muller (National) is well ahead with 17,360 votes. Angie Warren-Clark (Labour) has 7404 and Lester Gray (NZ First) has 2731.
Fifty-three per cent of the Waiariki vote has been counted and Tamati Coffey (Labour) has 6194 votes to Te Ururua Flavell's (Maori) 5433 votes.
9.18pm:Thirty-nine per cent of the Tauranga vote has been counted and Simon Bridges (National) is still leading, with 10,849 votes. Jan Tinetti (Labour) is second on 4584 and Clayton Mitchell (NZ First) third on 2288.
Bay of Plenty has seen 43.1 per cent of the vote counted and Todd Muller (National) is leading with 15,595 votes. Angie Warren-Clark (Labour) is next on 6227 and Lester Gray (NZ First) third on 2298.
Waiariki is leaning more towards Labour's Tamati Coffey with 40 per cent of the vote counted. Coffey has 5248 votes compared to Te Ururoa Flavell (Maori) on 4754.
8.45pm: Waiariki is proving a tight race, with Tamati Coffey (Labour) on 3467, followed narrowly by Te Ururoa Flavell on 3022.
Simon Bridges (National) is well ahead of the rest of the Tauranga pack with 34 per cent of the vote counted. Bridges is on 10,090 votes, Jan Tinetti (Labour) is on 4122 and Clayton Mitchell (NZ First) is on 2074.
With 30.8 per cent of the vote counted in the Bay of Plenty electorate, Todd Muller (National) is leading with 12,789 votes. Angie Warren-Clark (Labour) is second on 4997 and Lester Gray (NZ First) third on 1871.

7.49pm: In the Tauranga electorate, incumbent Simon Bridges (National) is leading, with 7631 votes. Jan Tinetti (Labour) is next on 3202, followed by Clayton Mitchell (NZ First) on 1783.
In the Bay of Plenty electorate, incumbent Todd Muller (National) is currently leading the Bay of Plenty polling with 10,466 votes so far. Next closest is Angie Warren-Clark (Labour) on 4258 votes, then Lester Gray (NZ First) on 1593.
