Netball New Zealand is to blame
It's probably appropriate that our Prime Minister has just visited France.

Let's hope among her souvenirs she managed to pick up a guillotine. Why a guillotine you may well ask? Perhaps to lop the top of Netball New Zealand and their chief executive and her team of high performance managers.

Does blame lie at the feet of the coach and the players for the worst results ever by a New Zealand netball team? A little, perhaps.

Spare a thought for the coach, no doubt a lovely lady who was selected to perform a task well above her capabilities.

The team never had a chance to bond with the never-ending changes called for during each game.

An executive who declared that because Laura Langman played in the Australian League she could no longer play for New Zealand. Really?

Liz Ellis, a Australian netball legend, described the treatment of Langman by Netball New Zealand as shocking and appalling.

Let's get people in position at the head of Netball New Zealand who know what they are doing. Return netballers running netball - it has always been successful in the past.

Exhibition site
The obvious place for the whole Battle of Gate Pa exhibition is at the old Gate Pa bowling clubrooms.

It is on the site and I am sure it would be acceptable to the local iwi. Has this been investigated?
