Try making it into the city on any of our feeder roads, and we can all see where our priorities should be.
Admittedly the debacle at Greerton has added to the backup of traffic in that area, but councils, both Tauranga and Western Bay, should be looking at all aspects of roading, for instance, why is Carmichael Rd closed to incoming Tauranga traffic?
It would certainly alleviate a little of the congestion in Bethlehem. It only needs to be one way, too simple for the powers to be, I suggest. Over the past few years, developers have had a fair go at the market, now it is time for the Bay to catch up.
The closing of Station Rd at the same time as SH2 roadworks at Bethlehem is unbelievable. Surely some sort of communication was lacking.
