It's fantastic that New Zealand has won the America's Cup. That's its name, the America's Cup, not the Auckland Cup.
It took less than five minutes before it was broadcast on TV that the next America's Cup challenge would be held in Auckland. Some of
the world's best sailors who were actually on board the winning boat were from Tauranga.

Why not have the next America's Cup regatta at Mount Maunganui, home of champions.
Auckland is not New Zealand but because they make the most noise they attract big money.
