Last minute line-up changes to Mount Ja Rule and Ashanti concert

There's been a last minute change to the line-up at the Ja Rule, Ashanti and Chingy concert tonight at Mount Park.

One of the acts, Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs'N Harmony, missed his flight last night which means he will arrive into New Zealand tomorrow.

However, promoters have placed some calls and New Zealand hip hop group Smashproof has been called up to fill in and perform tonight along with the R&B icons.

In a post on social media Mount Park said: "We understand there may be some disappointment but please know what we can't control the artists' movements until they arrive in the country.''

"Bizzy sends his deepest apologies and he will see you next week at Bay Dreams festival, or at one of the side shows across New Zealand."

Smashproof was a male New Zealand hip hop group best known for their song 'Brother' featuring Gin Wigmore.

The group was made up of Young Sid, Tyree and Deach.

The Ja Rule, Ashanti and Chingy show will take place tonight, 7pm at Mount Park (the old Brewer's field) on Newton St in Mount Maunganui.
