Kids playing with fire spark call out in Otumoetai

Firefighters called to a rubbish fire in Otumoetai are understood to have found children responsible.

Firefighters were called to Hinewa St about 10.20am to reports of a small fire, a fire communications person said.

It is understood firefighters found a group of boys playing with fire instead.

Police were also responding to the incident.
