Three Bay school children were the talk of their school after they were dropped off in rally cars at their school this morning.

Seven-year-old twins Aidan and Jake Bollee along with their older brother Mason Bollee were picked up from their home in Papamoa and driven in separate rally cars to St Thomas Moore Catholic School in Mount Maunganui.

"It was awesome, the boys were super excited and it was fun," said mum Janine Bollee.

"When they rocked up at school they got some severe kudos from all their mates who were most imprerssed," she said.

The treat came as a win from Janine who entered a competition on The Hits Tauranga to win her sons a ride in a rally car ahead of this weekend's rally action in the Bay.

Rally driver Matt Hayward said each boy were driven in their own rally car by himself, Phil Campbell and Dave Loughlin.

"We picked them up at their home and they all got a car each and it felt like the whole school was waiting for us to get their," Mr Hayward said.

"It was really cool to have driven a whole family."
