Black Cap Kane Williamson paid a visit to Mount Maunganui Primary School this afternoon, to the joy of hundreds of small cricketing fans.
Williamson was at the school opening their new cricketing pitch, developed by Bay Cricket this summer.
Pupils, who were donned in white clothes, welcomed Williamson with an archway, and were able to have a quick cricket game on the new pitch.
