The local interest centred around Te Puke's Loose Unit Too with driver Tristan Hynds and Jimmy Fagan. They began the round in second place and qualified well this morning.
The action continues from 3pm tomorrow with the inaugural ENZED Stadium Jetsprints featuring a top-class international field from Canada, the US and Australia joining the best of the Kiwis.
