International reggae star Shaggy has pulled out of Tauranga's One Love festival this weekend.
Shaggy, who was going to close off the two-day reggae festival - at the Tauranga Domain on Saturday and Sunday - will no longer be performing due to unforeseen circumstances.
Promoter Pato Entertainment said the last-minute news was disappointing but the One Love team had worked hard to find a suitable replacement, with the much-loved Katchafire now confirmed as closing out the Sunday night.
Shaggy apologised to fans and promised to be in New Zealand in the near future, with all One Love ticketholders being guaranteed a discount to the future show.
The line-up for this weekend's festival includes some of the biggest names in reggae music including Spawnbreezie, Common Kings, Magic! and Fiji as well as local legends Kora, House of Shem, Sons of Zion and Stan Walker.
