Powerco contractors are working to isolate and repair a faulty piece of network equipment that initially cut power to more than 800 properties in Pāpāmoa late this morning.

Network operations manager Phil Marsh said the power was lost about 11.25am and 107 customers remained without power supply.

"We were able to back-feed supply to the majority of the 835 customers initially affected and hope to have the remaining customers in Pacific Cove Dr, Savannah Pl and Dominion Rd back on by late today," he said.
