Please help us help sick children.
In the Bay of Plenty Times Weekend, you will have read we are launching one of the biggest fund-raising initiatives in the paper's history.
The Big Charity Auction aims to raise thousands of dollars for the Child Cancer Foundation - and readers will win luxury prizes including a
tropical family holiday, boat, home appliance package, outdoor home package and diamond ring worth a total of almost $70,000.
All you need to do is collect the charity auction dollars that will feature on page 2 of the paper from Monday to Friday over the next four-plus weeks.
Proceeds from newspaper sales will go to the charity, which means the more papers you buy the more chance you have of scooping one of the big prizes and the more money we can give to the Child Cancer Foundation.
The money raised will help support sick children and their families.
Child cancer is one of life's scourges, pouring pain and misery on innocent children and taking lives far too soon.
It is difficult not to feel immense sadness when seeing the balding head of a child with cancer.
It's not right and it's not fair.
Take the compelling story of Francesca Taylor, who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma - a bone tumour in her leg - in February last year.
She has endured more than five months in hospital, 10 months in a wheelchair, eight months of chemotherapy and six surgeries.
We urge you to read her story and support our charity auction.
Together, we can make a difference.
