"She looked phenomenal in every outfit she wore.
"We could definitely see her on runways outside of this competition and we hope we can take her further than this competition."
She said every finalist had done the Bay of Plenty proud.
"Every single one of them was lovely."
Marketing manager Samantha Dowling said it was always a difficult competition to judge, with such a range of beautiful women from all walks of life.
The competition was a celebration of women of all ages and last night was a great occasion for them to dress up, enjoy some fashion and have a girls' night out, she said.
VIP guests enjoyed priority seating and an array of treats in the complimentary goody bags.
The final 15 models ranged in age from 18 to 82 years, many having never modelled before.
"For us, it's not all about the traditional ideas of modelling. We're looking at these women as a whole and celebrating them and their confidence," Miss Dowling said. It was a great learning experience for the women involved, having to master their walks, poses and even learning the backstage protocol and their six quick outfit changes.
"They all did so well and it looked like they had a lot of fun out there on the catwalk too," Miss Dowling said.
"We are so proud of all the ladies who entered and it has been another really successful year."
It was the third year the indulge Bay Model competition had been held and it drew the biggest crowd yet.
Following last night's event, women can pick up top bargains from 20 local and national clothing designers at the indulge Outlet Sale at ASB Baypark from 10am to 5pm today.
Featured designers include Chaos and Harmony, Repertoire, Kingan Jones and Sisters.
