I can't say I am the world's best photographer.
Over the years, I've had some disasters with heads chopped off and blurry results.
It's probably why I became a reporter instead.
But I do love looking at good photos - and we seem to get plenty from our readers.
Most days in the newsroom we
get sent photos taken by our loyal readers and many of them are crackers.
On page A7 today, we have a selection of images that capture the beauty of nature. The pictures include a baby hedgehog and a New Zealand dotteral.
If you like taking photos then why not get snapping and send them in for publication?
And if you belong to a club or organisation and have some news, you can write up a short story and send it in as well. Our friendly staff are more than happy to help if you need it.
