I love quirky stories.
It's one of the lighter sides to the business of putting out newspapers and publishing news websites - and today we've got a couple of beauts.
On the front page, you will have read the story about the naked man who got caught jogging around McLaren Falls park
yesterday.
People saw him and as you'd expect he got arrested.
There will be readers who have a bit of a chuckle at this and even come up with a few predictable puns to go with it, but of course there will be others who see the obvious serious side.
What he did was unacceptable and stupid.
And on page 5, we have a story from our sister paper The Daily Post that we couldn't resist.
It's about a UFO sighting in Rotorua. Personally, I think it looks like the moon - but who knows?
You can judge for yourself and let us know your thoughts or any potential UFO sightings you've had by emailing a letter to the editor or going to our Facebook page. The addresses? editor@bayofplentytimes.co.nz and www.facebook.com/bayofplentytimes
