Flooding has been reported in two locations on State Highway 25 Tairua to Whitianga between 309 Road and Moewai Rd, according to Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency.
They advise the road is now closed until the water recedes.
The current advice is to follow emergency services’ directions and delay your journey.
