Save Fire investigators were among the services called out to a house fire in Otumoetai last night.
Firefighters spent three hours battling the fire in a house on Freyberg St after being called there at 6.40am.
Fire communications shift manager Megan Ruru said the fire had been burning inside a roof
space of a property on the street.
Fire investigators were called to the scene to assist firefighters, she said.
Tauranga firefighters could not be reached.
