Fifteen stunning women of all ages and shapes will take to the catwalk tonight to show off the latest fashion trends straight out of the Bay of Plenty for this year's indulge Bay Model.

The event, sponsored by Blur Eyecare, will see the women aged between 18 and 62 take part in the fashion show in three age categories. The 18 to 25 category is sponsored by Sisters & Co, the 26 to 39 category by Augustine and the 40-plus category by George Edward.09-10-2015 11:00:29

Marama Rice, indulge Bay Model finalist, said she was excited to be part of such an empowering women's event in the Western Bay of Plenty.

"It's going to be such a great show, I have been looking forward to it for weeks, not just for myself, but to inspire my 12-year-old daughter Jazz - so she knows she can do anything she wants to."

Ms Rice would be modelling George Edwards for the show and was excited to show off her own touches for her look.

indulge Bay Model judge Annemarie Quill said she was looking forward to seeing the the finalists in action on the catwalk.

"Each of the girls have their own star qualities so it will make it a challenge judging and choosing one in each category.

"I'm looking forward to seeing how they are styled in the latest fashions trends from Sisters & Co., Augustine and George Edward too. It's going to be an exciting evening."

Events manager Dayna Comeskey said this year's event had been moved to a bigger venue, ASB Arena, which had enabled the production and staging for the show to be taken to another level.

"It will be the first time these ladies have taken to the catwalk, so we are encouraging the audience to get in behind them, cheer them along and to have lots of fun throughout the show."

The three brands fashioned in the show would be showing their latest summer range and would help judge the finalists along with Blur Eyecare and Ms Quill, she said.

The doors open at 6pm and tickets were still available online or at the door with the show kicking off at 7pm, she said.
