Kids DIY at Bunnings
On Saturdays and Sundays throughout April Bunnings Warehouse in Mount Maunganui is holding DIY workshops for kids. Children can have fun with paint one week and do Easter crafts the next. Children over 5 are free and workshops are held from 10am until 2pm.
Tauranga Library
Chalk art - free
Children aged three to six can come down to the library for stories, songs and chalk drawing throughout the school holidays. Chalk art session will be held at10.30am-11.30am at Tauranga library on Tuesday April 18 and Thursday April 27; Papamoa Library on Wednesday April 19; Greerton Library on Wednesday April 19 and Wednesday April 26; Mount Maunganui Library on Thursday April 20. Parents must stay and supervise children. Registration required.
Pavement Art - free
After listening to a story children aged seven to 10 will get the chance to work together to create a gigantic work of art on the pavement (weather dependent). Sessions are from 10.30am-11.30am at Tauranga Library on Thursday April 20 and Wednesday April 26; Papamoa Library on Wednesday April 26; Greerton Library on Thursday April 20 and Thursday April 27; Mount Maunganui Library on Thursday April 27.
