World Diabetes Week will take place on November 12-16, with the theme "Diabetes Concerns Every Family".
The Diabetes Help Tauranga Roadshow, supported by local healthcare professionals, Lions and Lionesses and students from Toi Ohomai, will be visiting local shopping centres and Tauranga Hospital. The roadshow will talk about the effects of diabetes, both type one and type two, on families, and share how families can support those with diabetes more effectively.
