Crash blocks lane on Mount Maunganui's Hewlett's Rd

No one has been seriously hurt in a crash between a truck and a car in Mount Maunganui.

However, delays are likely after the crash happened on Hewletts Rd near Totara St about 4.05pm.

A witness to the crash said the truck appeared to have rear-ended the car in front of it. The car has since moved off to the side of the road but the truck was still blocking a lane to Mount Maunganui-bound traffic.
