Police and St John ambulance are at the intersection of 9th Ave and Cameron Rd following a crash involving two small children this morning.

The crash happened about 8.55am.

The two small children were involved in the collision and seen by ambulance staff, but were not injured.

Senior Constable Bruce Gordon said a woman had approached the intersection as her glasses slipped down her nose and she failed to observe the give way sign.

Traffic remains flowing through the busy intersection, as a damaged car sits on a traffic median barrier with police parked alongside.
