Indulge Outlet Sale, the stock offered will be a variety of dresses, knitwear, tops, shirts, footwear and jewellery.
The Bay's largest outlet sale is back at ASB Baypark this October, perfect timing for Christmas presents.
The indulge Outlet Sale in association with Aspire Health and Sports is a one-day sale with stalls from more than 25 local and national stores and labels including Evolution, Beau, Ioanna Kourbela, Wendys Boutique, NYNE, Urban Vogue, George Edward, Polish, LBM - Good Jewellery, Eclectic Boutique, Foss & Kruger Outlet Store including: Day Birger et Mikkelsen, 2nd Day, Leon & Harper, American Retro, POL, Sable & Minx, Spencer and Rutherford Handbags and other Australasian leading handbag brands plus homeware - Cool Cow Rugs, LBM - No 3 Candles, LBM - Chipstar, and sports/health labels Shuzi and Smith's Sport Shoes.
Bay of Plenty Times event manager Dayna Comeskey says that, as well as fashion, there will be homewares, handbags and jewellery. "We're expecting a lot of people through the doors. Who does not love a good bargain and this is all stock at outlet prices, lot of it under 50 per cent, some up to 75 per cent off."
Comeskey says stock will be replenished throughout the day so anyone coming in the afternoon will still have a great selection.
Zoe at Wendy's Boutique, which sells labels such as Loobie's Story, Trelise Cooper, Paula Ryan, and Moss & Spy says they will be offering top labelled items at bargain prices.
"We will basically have end of lines from the latest winter season along with shoes, bags and jewellery.
"Last year we were selling knitwear for $20 to $25, so we will follow specials along these lines as well as our top labelled items at a discounted prices."
The Evolution sales racks were a big drawcard last year, helpfully divided into price brackets.
Says designer Miranda Cobb, "Prices will be up to 70 per cent off again this year. The stock we will be offering will be a variety of dresses, knitwear, tops, shirts, leather footwear and jewellery."
Miranda says the sale is not to be missed. "We think that attending the indulge Outlet Sale is a must and the atmosphere and massive bargains were a huge attraction to our customers. We are really looking forward to being a part of such a well-organised event again and can't wait to see all our amazing customers grab some great deals."
Another addition this year is the inclusion of Little Big Markets.
Comeskey reminds shoppers that cash can be king when it comes to bagging a good deal.
"Bring cash - not only do the stalls not all do Eftpos, but it's good to shop with cash ... then hubby knows no different. Not that anyone's hubby will complain at this day's shopping as there are great bargains to be had."
Aspire Health and Sports will be at the indulge outlet sale with membership offers and demonstrations.
Since it opened its doors in July, Aspire Health and Sports, the latest addition to the Bay's fitness scene, has hardly been out of the news. All the nation's eyes were on Aspire this week as they hosted the All Blacks for a training camp in the Bay run by All Blacks strength and conditioning coach Dr Nic Gill. Gill, in his eighth year with the All Blacks, heads the High Performance Centre at Aspire. He has a doctorate in exercise physiology and is an associate professor at Auckland University of Technology.
Gill based Aspire' facility on high-performance centres he has worked in during his international career.
The centre has daily programmes for sports-specific strength and conditioning, as well as specialist classes and a speed school, which is an athletic development programme for children 7 and older.
Prices will be up to 70 per cent off again this year
Gill is joined in the centre by Dan Ward-Smith, who comes from a 12-year career in professional rugby where he played to an international level with England.
Aspire also hosts the Inside Running Rugby Academy in which aspiring pros from over the world come to Tauranga to train under Gill and Ward-Smith.
As well as the High Performance Centre, the gym boasts a host of other facilities, including a Ludus Magnus (gladiators) arena, indoor running track, extensive training and fitness equipment, a 25m heated pool, hot and cold plunge pools, vast fitness and cardio rooms, and a spin room.
Manager Ruth Barber says Aspire aims to be "a home of fitness", whatever your level and goals. "We have the high performance part and this means we are lucky to be able to attract national and international calibre sportspeople to train in Tauranga, but we also have extensive programmes for all levels of fitness, whether you are a beginner, returning to the gym after a time away, whether it's weight loss or rehabilitation."
Aspire's integrated sports medicine facilities are available to all members and include a nutritionist, podiatrist, massage therapists and physiotherapists.
"When trainers do the baseline assessment with clients, if there is a need for a referral then that happens - for example if someone needs help analysing their food diary if they are struggling to lose the last kilos, or if someone has an old or current injury that needs taking into account."
Aspire sees itself as a "home of fitness", and that means food, too. The on-site Good Things cafe is run by former New Zealand gymnast Carly Styles who most recently developed the sugar-free organic menu at Mills Reef Winery. Here members can relax with a Mojo coffee before or after training, plus there is a range of healthy smoothies, salads and wraps, and Carlie's special-sugar-free bliss balls. "The bliss balls have become a bit of a thing at Aspire," says Ruth, "they taste so good it is hard to believe they are so healthy."
At the Open Home Day on 30 August, Ruth says people are invited to come and look around the facilities. "The staff will be here to answer any questions you may have." Ruth says Aspire will follow this up with a day of group fitness class demos on September 5.
The club hosts a range of classes graded according to duration, workout type and intensity.
Classes include: Aquarobics: Exercising in the pool means less stress on joints and muscles - great if you're older, have an injury or are recovering from illness. But most of all it is great fun. Pilates: A holistic exercise system designed to stretch, strengthen and restore the body to balance. Exercises involve the whole body and are performed on spring-assisted apparatus or a mat.
BodyPump: This barbell class helps you shape, tone and strengthen your entire body. The 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups.
CXWorx: A short sharp workout to strengthen your core.
RPM: In a 50-minute RPM indoor cycling class, your instructor will take you through a journey choreographed to inspirational music. You will push yourself to the limit and sweat and burn to reach an endorphin high.
BodyStep: Cardio and muscle conditioning using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step.
BodyBalance: A yoga, tai chi and Pilates workout to leave you centred and calm. With controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses, you'll build strength and flexibility.
BodyAttack and BodyCombat: Sports-inspired high-intensity workouts using a wide array of disciplines.
Grit: 30-minute high-intensity interval training improves strength and builds lean muscle. Uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast major muscle groups. Get fit fast.
